By Aileen Chen
I've got lots of little things floating around my work bag lately and I think I maynhave found a good way to keep them all together.
The product is designed to hold electronic items on a chest strap because it has a stiff backing and felt lining, and has a Velcro wrap that will wrap around nearly any 2" nylon strapn(messenger bag, duffel bag, etc).
I'm, however, currently using it to hold some toiletries and lip gloss. I bought it because my needs change, and I like the idea of having a pouch thats sturdy enough where I'd feel comfortable putting my point-and-shoot digital camera in it when I travel.
For daily use this product will live inside my bag, but for travel I intend to put it on my messenger bag.

I'm a guy who likes gear bags and hates backpacks. I buy a ton of gadgets and I am always looking for neat ways to carry them around. I actually do not like Timbuk2 design because their bags tend to be way too simple and offer too few organizational pockets for my use of them.
In this case it all works and the Shagg bag is simply genius! I really don't know how I have lived without one for this long. The pictures are kind of hard to judge but the large size here is actually not that large. So don't be intimidated. Its big enough to hold a passport, plane tickets, cash, 2 mobiles (HTC HD2 and Samsung Galaxy S), bluetooth headset and a pair of headphones with a little room to spare, however its only about the size of a normal travel wallet.
The thing I like most about the Shagg bag is that it fits on any bag. I swap it between a Pacsafe 200, Pacsafe 250, Pacsafe M100, Tumi Alpha and Swiss army Parliament 17. It fits all their straps with no problem and so I can put small daily things (like headphones, ID, phone stand, thumbdrive, etc) in it and swap it from bag to bag. It fits snugly and doesn't slide when its worn cross body. Even when you are running.
The design is simple, as per Timbuk2 but well thought out. There is a small outer zippered pocket and a main pocket. The back of the thing is stiff and gives a nice protective backing for phones and such. Inside is a kind of felt lining that give friction to prevents things from sliding around inside. Then it has two velcro flaps at the back which you wrap around the strap of your bag. That's all there is to it.
If you are a shoulder bag and too many gadgets person, I say get one. Get the large one. You will wonder how you lived without it.

Fits perfectly on my H.A.L. Backpack, on any strap. Main compartment fits an iPhone 4/4s, 2nd might accommodate headphones, memory card, etc.
Not sure it would fit bigger phones though. Check the size beforehand.
