5Perfect for what I needed
By Susan Miller
First I love Osprey packs. They make incredibly products and are generally of the highest quality. The Atmos 65 is right in line with all the others they provide. It's very light weight and includes the internal frame which is important. The mesh backing is absolutely awesome! You will never want to carry another bag after you carry one of these. It allows for your back to breathe instead of soaking your clothing with sweat.

I've used this bag a few times now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Plenty of space for your gear (I generally carry about 12lbs including food, excluding water) but needed a bigger bag for the colder months. With that being said it is absolutely perfect for any time of the year. I may make this my all around bag as it can be adjusted to fit your load out.

*Plenty of hauling capacity and enough extra pockets for organization.
*The shoulder padding felt great. I have other bags that become uncomfortable after 15 miles and so far, no issues with this one.
*Zippers work great. No issues.

If anyone wants pics or has any questions please let me know.

By the way, this is the 2012 model and I purchase the small. I'm 5'5, 130lbs and it fits like a glove. I would recommend that anyone looking for a bag go to an outfitter to try the bags on. Get some help with the adjustments to make sure it's comfortable. If that isn't an option, make sure to take some measurements to match your size! Trust me, you want to do this. Having a bag that fits correctly can make a huge difference when out and about. It may not matter after a mile but it will make a huge difference after 15 or 30!

5osprey atmos 65
By mikadin
just got to break this in on a 4 night backpacking trip. first impression is i love it. it carries like a dream. this is my 3rd osprey pack and though it felt about maxed out at 50lbs, it didn't shift even slightly and fit like a glove. the breathable mesh back panel is superior to the kestrel design. the bottom of the bag is a crescent shape, which will take a little creative packing, but once you've figured out how to get those corners stuffed it does it's job very well. got this to be my go-to 3-6 day trip pack and think it was a good decision.

5Feels Like a Caddilac
By T. Olson
I went from a cheap vaude pack to this. I bought this then did a 17.5 mile overnight hike on the mid state trail in State College, Pa. The pack was great feels way more comfortable and no problems going through brush and pickers. Just a personal preference I think I might like the suitcase zipper(to allow for lengthwise opening of the pack) and I kinda wanted the thermal moulding hip belt, also I have to tweak the bladder hose a little cause i couldnt find the ideal configuration.
I also wouldnt mind some factory customization options on colors and other options

Thats the nitpicking little details
This is the best pack I've worn and I wouldnt trade it for any of the others I have seen and tried

Thank you osprey for designing a great pack and then backing it up with a lifetime warranty I hope everyone keeps buying their packs
