This isn't a bad pack, it just isn't great. I returned it. The drink holder isn't insulated and it's uncomfortable if you don't have anything on the other side to balance it. Also, the straps need to be wider, at least where they connect to the pack. I also thought this was a little overpriced.

I have years of miles logged with this pack. It's not one of the larger lumbar packs, but perfect for day hiking. I have stuffed in it, small photography pieces like a 1.4x teleconverter, small wallet, Iphone, and snacks. Thats about all it will hold. The water jug feature is perfect for me, thats why I chose it. It has no worn areas after all this time. I'd get a new one maybe a tad larger or with one more pocket, but this one is still perfect after years of abuse! ;) I connect other lens packs to it, a hat, and basically load it up with anything I don't want to carry. Love the color too, I want to blend in with the scenery. I added a stick on velcro closure to the inside pocket to secure ID and cards. It could do with another pocket, but for now I still love it. I actually wear it to the front side so I can get to it quickly.

Comfortable, and the water bottle holder is a nice addition (I used it for purchased bottled water, instead of carrying the bottle that came with the pack). The main pocket is a little smaller than I expected, but still carried everything I required.
